The ultimate Galaxy Note Generation comparison. It's time to take a look at how far we've come when it comes to the innovation with the Galaxy Note lineup. Samsung recently celebrated the note history. But they actually neglected the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. But who is not gonna do that? The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is equally important as all the other Galaxy Note phones in my opinion. With everything that happened it actually made this phone even more special. The phone series that actually gave birth to the name phablet. And of course, he presented the idea of using the pen with a phone. So over the years, Samsung has made an improvement in terms of design, camera, software, performance, everything is changed. Now we have the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

If we compare between the generations you can always see that Samsung Galaxy Note phones always had the best specification. Especially with the displays, Samsung was just too good. Imagine being so good at something that you do it for your rivals as well. That is Samsung for you still the best when it comes to the display on a smartphone. With Samsung Galaxy Note 9 they really just surpassed everything. I mean this thing is unreal. I mean you got to see something like this in person to actually appreciate what they have done. So back in the days, the Samsung Galaxy Note flagship phones were always big compared to Samsung Galaxy S lineup. But somewhere between the Samsung Galaxy S 5 generation they actually released the Plus model. That is the point where the S family came really close to the Samsung Galaxy Note lineup. And now with the Samsung Galaxy S 9 plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, there's actually just a difference of s-pen. But back then Samsung Galaxy Note series always had an upper hand over the Galaxy S lineup. And that is why Samsung actually skipped the number and jump straight to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 instead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Because if Samsung kept following that old number line up then the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 would have been a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. And since the Samsung Galaxy S lineup is on the Samsung Galaxy S 9. People would say ok Samsung Galaxy S 9 is greater than Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Then the Samsung Galaxy S 9 is better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 so that's why Samsung actually made that genius decision to bump the number and match it with the Samsung Galaxy S 9 family. From Samsung Galaxy Note 1 to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 there was an era. The era of plastic. We had this plastic design where Samsung kept using the
removal back. That was not as premium as the other phones like the iPhone. At that time but it did give us the option to remove the back and remove the battery. But ultimately they had to draw up that. And the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was the end of that era. It was the first note film that actually had some kind of premium materials to it with metal on the side and plastic everywhere. It was a sign that Samsung has started to listen to the customers. And then came the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that started a new era of premiumness. This is actually one of our favorite Samsung Galaxy Note phones of all time. But it's also worse for one reason and that is killing off the option to expand the memory why a microSD card. But like I said this is a company that actually listens to the customer, so they brought it back with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Fe. And even the headphone jack is still here with the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9. And if we talk about the cameras this is where we have made some miraculous jumps. With photos captured with it, you can pretty much depend on your smartphone which you can put in your pocket and take some amazing photos and videos that actually can be compared to a professional camera. Now portability is the best thing about the phone and it's been so long since we've used a proper camera for our tour, but we've used the phones for the most time. And they take some incredible photos. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is one of the best cameras out there. Shoots amazing videos, take amazing pictures and compared to the older note generation it has improved a lot. And a quick display resolution fagged, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was the last Samsung Galaxy Note phone who actually got a resolution bumps. It was the quad HD display both with this phone. And then all the future models kept the quad HD resolution. But Samsung did improve the display accuracy and getting to the point where Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is considered as the best phone when it comes to consuming media because of its awesome display. And of course this year Samsung made the ultimate improvement to the s-pen as well. For the first time instead of taking just notes you can actually control your Samsung Galaxy Note phone with just a click of a button. So if you just press it and hold it, it's gonna launch the camera and you can take a quick picture. So that is something incredible that Samsung has done with this Samsung Galaxy Note 9. And we can't imagine anyone beating the Samsung Galaxy Note when it comes to the S Pen game. I mean not only the pen capabilities but now it has Bluetooth what is making it a true one-of-a-kind smartphone. Now looking back at the Samsung Galaxy Note generation. There's clearly a pattern going on. With one generation we get the big upgrade. And then the second generation is like the improvement on that. So Samsung Galaxy Note 1 came with the new design. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was an improvement of that same design. And then the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 came with the design change. And then the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was the improvement on that. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 brought the new premium era and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the evolution of the design. Then with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, it was the birth of the infinity era. And the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is further improving that era, improving all the flaws and making everything as better as they can. So this has always been Samsung's strategy. They've got to the point where they made such an amazing phone that this year's phone actually made people think that Samsung is not doing innovation or anything. But if you look back the innovation is right there. So that was a lot about the history of the note.

We just played a quick game of speed dance with the good old boot-up test. We had got the logos in Samsung Galaxy Note 9 before all. Obviously, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was the winner. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was second. Then we respectively had the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and then, of course, the Samsung Galaxy Note 1 was the last one to boot up.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was going 9000+ and more than Core which was 9 times more almost than the original note. So huge power gains and huge gains with a single-core score as well. The difference between the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 performance Benchmark wise was not so much. But with Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9, you can definitely see some jump here with both single-core and multi-core.

We could start playing the game in Samsung Galaxy Note 9. So huge difference when Samsung Galaxy Note 1 came to opening up of games and the home button delay in Samsung Galaxy Note 1 was just insane. And Samsung Galaxy Note 1 actually turned off. The subway surfer was just too much for this little Samsung Galaxy Note 1.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 obviously did better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 1. While opening cameras the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was a second behind the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. And Subway Surfers, the blazing performance of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was just so good and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was just light-years behind. And remember that it was Subway Surfers. Think What would be with heavy games like asphalt 9 or fortnight. Oh, fortnight can't even stall on Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It's a huge difference there.

next on the list was the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. We have tested a camera, calculator and Subway Surfers. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was almost as slow as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. So with the first three-generation, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was just so good. I mean they didn't even start loading and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was already finished.
This tells how far we have come.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was one of the legendary models. We have tested the phone dialer and that was okay. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was giving a nice performance with the system based application like a camera, calculator. But while opening a subway surfer before the start of the loading in Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 finished.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 FE was a little bit quicker than Samsung Galaxy Note 9 while opening the phone dialer. In Opening Instagram Samsung Galaxy Note 7 FE was actually faster. While opening the camera and Subway Surfers the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was a little bit quicker. Actually, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 FE took a sweet time but not too much compared to the previous notes.

While opening Smash Hit Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was a little bit quicker. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was just a couple of seconds slower than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 while opening the Subway Surfers.
